Membership in the Washington State Association of Independent Outpatient Programs is only open to state approved independent outpatient chemical dependency treatment programs* which meet the WSAIOP Code of Ethics and other standards of the organization. All applications for membership are subject to a vote of approval by the membership. *Programs which are not attached to, or affiliated with, any intensive inpatient program (as certified by DASA) by owner or by board. Furthermore, the program's parent organization, whose corporate offices are located in Washington State, must be the chemical dependency outpatient treatment program as delineated by WAC 388-805.
